The DCCNM Coffee Shop Entrepreneurial Program
This program is designed to utilize the strengths of an established Deaf entrepreneur to mentor a budding Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard-of-Hearing entrepreneur.
Often The Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard-of-Hearing community members have difficulty in obtaining employment.
By developing job opportunities by and for the Deaf community this emphasizes the importance of building economic resilience and self reliance allowing for individuals to develop agency and realize that "PAH! Dreams do come true".
Note: "PAH" is the ASL sign for Finally or At Last.
